Mogadishu - Top African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and United Nations officials yesterday joined the Federal Government of Somalia in mourning the victims of last weekend’s bomb attack.

Mogadishu - Mr. Geoffrey Prewitt, Chief of the Development Programming Section at UNV Bonn, Germany, visited Somalia last week and interacted with UN volunteers placed in various UN agencies in the country. He also met with senior UN officials in Mogadishu.

Mogadishu – The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) officially handed over the premises of the Somali National University back to federal government authorities on Tuesday, relinquishing control of the institution, which it had occupied for the last 10 years.
