Mogadishu - A delegation from the African Union Peace Support Operations Division (PSOD) is in Somalia to assess peacekeeping activities as the transfer of responsibilities from AMISOM to Somali national security forces begin to take shape.

The AU Mission in Somalia feted the outgoing Head of the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS), Hubert Price, for his efforts to improve the logistical support to AU troops on the frontline, at a ceremony held in Mogadishu, on 30 January 2018.
